Why can't I connect to Wi-Fi?

You can only connect to one Beha SmartHeater at a time. When connecting it is important that your mobile and the router are connected to the same network. If they are, and you still can’t find the heater, you can check the following:

1. Check the Wi-Fi-connection on your router

If the router has two networks – choose the one marked 2,4 GHz.

How do I do this?

The network that should be used is on 2,4 GHz. This frequency is normally just named with the name of the router.

2. Check signal and distance to the router

The Wi-Fi- strength from the router can vary room to room. The signal can be weak in one room but super strong in another.

This is what you can do if the Wi-Fi-signal is weak:

Bring the heater into a room where the signal is strong and try and connect it to your phone there. Once connected, bring the heater to the room where you want it installed. Check that you have contact via the app to control the temperature.

PS! You can easily buy a Wi-Fi repeater that you can use to boost the signal into rooms with weak signal. Just make sure you connect to the repeater under the available networks at set up.

3. Check password

Check that you have used the correct password to connect to the router.

4. Check that the Wi-Fi-symbol on the heater is flashing

The heater must be set to link-up-mode when connecting to a router. Link-up-mode is when the Wi-Fi-symbol is flashing on to the floor.
